Our two ferrata adventures took place on beautiful days, with clear skies and perfect conditions for an outdoor experience. Both days were filled with excitement and camaraderie, making each experience truly memorable. Firstly, Aneta, our guide, introduced us to the organising NGO – Four Links, the e29 network and the various projects we are involved in.

The primary objective of the activity was to provide participants with new skills that they could carry forward, strengthen community bonds and promote teamwork. After a comprehensive safety briefing, which emphasized common mistakes to avoid, everyone participated in a hands-on practice of tying the prusik knot before approaching the Ferrata.

The second part of our adventure put the group’s newly learned skills to the test. Under Aneta’s supervision, participants practiced tying the prusik knot on the Ferrata rope and securing themselves properly. The group’s enthusiasm was evident throughout the day, as they eagerly asked questions, shared their experiences, and supported one another. The positive energy and camaraderie among the participants made the experience both enjoyable and memorable.
