Video Recap of event in Via Ferrata Skalka

Via ferrata on Skalka is the most popular and ideal place for beginners or advanced climbers of via ferrata routes. For this reason our organization, Klub 86, organized two activities for our project here. The weather, the people and also the other conditions were almost ideal for both activities. After the introductions we dove into the technical training, how to use the equipment properly, what unpredictable situations can surprise us, how to react to individual problems, how and why knots are also used on via ferratas. After training and putting on the gear we went to test our new knowledge for real. The first steps were still very cautious, but once they tried the safety of via ferrata gear and techniques, they were quite a bit bolder.

After the first three easier routes (B, B/C) we moved on to the more difficult routes (C, D). While climbing these more difficult routes, we were treated to the view of the endless mountains and hills of the Kremnica Hills. During the activity we got to know each other, we also had space to enjoy the beauty of nature or for mental and physical relaxation. We mutually agreed that adrenaline activities in nature are the best relaxation methods in the world.
