Video Recap of Via Ferrata Peregrine Falcon in Cheile Varghisului
The day began with an introduction to the equipment and a thorough safety briefing. Andreea and Pavel focused on essential climbing skills, such as tying secure knots, including the double fisherman’s and prusik. To match everyone’s comfort level, they opted for the scenic but accessible B/C trail. This choice allowed participants to explore safely while enjoying breathtaking views.
Once prepared, the group divided, with confident climbers taking the lead. Andreea and Pavel provided close support and guidance along the route, checking each participant’s progress. This pacing let everyone absorb the experience at their own speed, asking questions and refining techniques as they went. The instructors also emphasized proper foot and hand placement, ensuring that each participant gained confidence in their skills.
By day’s end, everyone completed the course, sharing a sense of accomplishment and unity. The event proved that, with encouragement and guidance, individuals can push through the challenges. Many participants expressed excitement for future challenges and a newfound love for outdoor adventures.
