Video Recap of our Via Ferrata activity in Castelo de Vide.

On October 5, 2024, a group of participants, coming from different parts of Portugal, gathered for an exciting day on the via ferrata in Castelo de Vide. This route is known for its medium difficulty, with a few sections that test climbers’ skills just a bit more, making it perfect for those ready for a little adventure. The participants arrived in two separate groups at different times, each receiving a hands-on briefing covering equipment, safety practices, and techniques like how to use the resting harness and the prusik loop. This prepared everyone for the day’s journey, making sure each participant felt ready to face the climb ahead.

Although the weather was a bit cloudy, everyone’s enthusiasm was shining. With each challenging section, participants encouraged each other, helping to create a supportive atmosphere as everyone advanced through the route. In the end, all participants were able to progress safely, handling the tricky spots with ease. The shared excitement, sense of achievement, and funny moments left a lasting impression on everyone involved, with many eager to join future events like this one.
