WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I’M SELECTED?
You’ll be informed about this life-changing event by email. Once you’re selected, the coordinator of the project you applied for will contact you and from that moment on will give you guidance and all the information you need.
Before going to youth exchange mobility (10 days learning moblity), you’ll have several local meetings with other participants and the group leaders in order to prepare. A group leader is a person who will take more responsibilities during this journey, it might be a participant who has already been to a youth exchange mobility or maybe one of your teachers.
During these preparatory meetings, you’ll find out necessary information about the project topic and what to prepare in advance, your travel details, packing advice (more information about logistics in next question).
During the activity of youth exchange you will be involved in 10 days of continuous learning, exploration, discovering and connecting to like-minded youth across Europe. Among the participants, there will be dedicated facilitators who will be holding sessions and supporting others to do so.
You will participate in individual and group tasks, push yourself out of comfort zone as much as you wish, no pressure nor any expectations are put on you. The only requirements are good mood and willingness to communicate in English, cooperate and contribute to a good group spirit.
After the youth exchange activity you will be involved in the dissemination process. This means that you will go back to your community and/or school and share all the amazing memories and super useful things you learned. Don’t worry, you will familiarize with the dissemination process during the youth exchange mobility and make a plan together with other participants on how you want to share with the world about the most amazing 10 days of your life!
