Welcome to our exciting rafting training on the Vltava River in Czechia — where the beauty of flowing water blends with inclusive learning, teamwork, and unforgettable moments in one of the country’s most scenic settings.
Rafting Adventure on the Vltava: From Vyšší Brod to Boršov nad Vltavou
Our rafting adventure on the Vltava began in Vyšší Brod, where experienced instructors introduced us to the essentials: how to hold the paddle correctly, work together on the raft, react in case of a capsize, and move safely on the river. After this initial training, we set off on our first stretch towards Občerstvení U Maxe, putting our new skills into practice and enjoying a fun, relaxed start to the journey.
As we continued from U Maxe toward Nové Spolí, the river became slightly longer and more demanding. This part of the route offered the perfect opportunity to test our technique and teamwork. With every kilometre, our coordination improved, and our confidence on the water grew.
The next section, from Nové Spolí to Camping Paradijs, gave us space to focus on precision. We navigated more challenging passages, reacted to stronger currents and obstacles, and enjoyed playful water activities that strengthened both individual skills and team spirit.
From Camping Paradijs to Tábořiště Dívčí kámen, teamwork became key. The terrain varied, bringing a mix of calm stretches and tricky spots that required clear communication. Unexpected moments appeared along the way, quickly turning into shared stories, laughs, and the kind of memories only river adventures can create.
We wrapped up our journey on the final section toward Boršov nad Vltavou, enjoying a smooth and relaxed float. By this point, the group could feel how much we had learned—from the first training moments in Vyšší Brod to the last calm bends before Boršov. The trip ended with a cheerful atmosphere, shared impressions, and a small surprise that made the farewell even more memorable.
