E29 includes organizations from 5 different countries: Hungary, Slovakia, Czechia, Portugal and Lithuania. Our team is multi-cultural, working together at European level but autonomously at local level.

What do we do?

We organize events across Europe and are focused in creating an inspiring community where we can learn, gain real life experience, travel, and have fun.

Our team consists of young people from different European countries. Your main responsibility will be to organize or promote international education and sport events for youngsters, aged mostly 16-20 years old, according to provided plan – involving and engaging volunteers, gathering participants, communicating with schools and other partners, dealing with logistics, promoting events and everything related to organizing the events to meet the required criteria and results. You must understand what it takes to make sure the logistics work out, keep everything within the allocated budget and ensure that the event itself is carried out smoothly.

Most of the time the schedule is flexible, you can work anytime, and anywhere as long as agreed events are organized. We are based in different countries around Europe. You will be invited to trainings and team buildings we organize and most of the live events we host across Europe, and always work with high-end equipment.

About the role

As the Event Coordinator, your main task will be to organize international educational and sports events for young people, in one or more of our 5 countries. You’ll manage all aspects of the event, from logistics to promotions, ensuring everything runs smoothly within budget.

We’re looking for someone who can engage with participants and volunteers, communicate effectively with schools and partners, and lead events that inspire and bring people together.

What will you do?
  • Plan and organize short-term (1-10 days) educational and sports events.

  • Engage and involve youngsters and volunteers in exciting local and international activities and online communities.
  • Handle logistics like finding venues, arranging transportation, and coordinating participants.
  • Communicate with participants, partners, schools and stakeholders to ensure everything goes smoothly.
  • Promote the events through online and offline channels.
  • Stay on budget and make sure every detail is taken care of, and documented from start to finish.
  • Mentor and guide volunteers and interns, helping them grow and learn.
  • Prepare post-event reports and evaluations to keep improving future events.
We are looking for you if you:
  • have 3+ years of experience organizing youth camps or events.

  • speak Hungarian fluently and can communicate in English.
  • love working with young people and have a genuine passion for youth development.
  • are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • have a valid driving license.
  • are comfortable traveling within the EU and eager to keep learning new things.
Nice to haves:
  • Any additional European languages.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (or a willingness to learn!).
  • Experience in project management would be a big plus.

Profile

We are looking for a full-time Communication and Social Media Specialist to promote our international educational and sport events online and offline. Your work will be travelling across Europe to our events, preparing visual and written content about them for our social media and websites.

What will you do?

Your main responsibility will be to promote our events, activities, and results online and offline, and take care of all administrative tasks related to planning and running communication and marketing campaigns. You must understand what it takes to reach the target audience and communicate a clear and attractive message.

  • Content writing for social media and websites
  • Preparing media (e.g. photos, videos, banners) for social media and websites
  • Maintenance of our multiple social media pages (Facebook and Instagram), strategic planning and analytics
  • Maintenance of our multiple websites, creating and publishing content
  • Attending part of our activities, creating visual and written content about them while being there and publishing it
  • Engaging youngsters in online communities
  • Communication with participants, partners and stakeholders
  • Promotion of our events and results offline, e.g. visiting schools, attending conferences
  • Preparing reports and evaluations
  • Improving the overall quality of the communications and marketing efforts
  • Mentoring communications and marketing interns and volunteers

Qualifications & Requirements
