On January 8th, 2025, the Czech Film Festival took place at HighFive, a lively karaoke bar in the heart of Brno. This festival was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with participants from previous Erasmus activities and share the impactful work of the Citizenship in Action project. The cosy yet energetic atmosphere of the venue added a unique charm to the event, making it a memorable evening of storytelling and community engagement.
The event featured a showcase of powerful films, documentaries, and photographs created during our various activities, including the training courses in Budapest and Brno and the blended mobility in Peniche. These visual stories highlighted different communities, cultures, and perspectives, reinforcing the project’s mission to use photography and videography as tools for active citizenship. The audience was captivated by the depth and authenticity of each piece, sparking meaningful discussions throughout the night.
After the screenings, the festival took an exciting turn with a karaoke night hosted by HighFive. Participants and attendees took the stage, singing their hearts out and celebrating the connections built through the project. The Czech Film Festival was not only a platform for showcasing impactful work but also a space for joy, laughter, and shared experiences—proving once again that storytelling, in all its forms, has the power to bring people together.
