Summary

This summer, come to the mountains of Slovakia and turn your ideas into real Erasmus+ youth exchanges.

At Youth Platform, you’ll spend one week with other motivated young people from across Europe, creating your own international project from scratch. With support from experienced mentors, you’ll shape your idea, plan the logistics, explore creative methods, and learn to use digital tools like Power Apps and Office 365 to organize everything like a pro.

By the end, your team will have a full project plan – clear, complete, and ready to roll. And the best part? The top project ideas will actually be implemented in 2025 within the E29 network – by you. If you’re ready to take the lead, get your hands dirty, and create something that matters – Youth Platform is for you.

We will explore the E29 approach through some creative icebreakers, setting the groundworks for trust, shared goals and positive collaborative environment.

  • Day 2-6: Project Building

In teams we will turn ideas into action: Designing Youth Exchange projects from scratch. Through mentorship, hands-on tool labs and peer feedback cycles ideas will take shape, plans will evolve becoming concrete, practical and creative plans. You will learn more about all the steps you need to design impactful and viable project ideas, from non-formal education principles and methodology, to how to handle logistics and documentation, using digital project management and coordination tools, and properly communicate your project. At your side and supporting your learning process will be experienced mentors.

  • Day 7: From Vision to Action

In the last day we will focus on finalizing our project ideas, share them and map out the next steps. We will reflect on our learning experience, celebrate it with a closing ceremony, receive our YouthPass and springboard the plans for the rest of the year. The activity will end but the creative and entrepreneurial spirit will linger with actual implementation of the projects during late 2025 and early 2026.

Travel Plan

  • Travel days will be 23rd and 31st of July.

  • The main travel tickets will be purchased and arranged by our organization. These include bus, train and flight tickets and exclude local and urban transportation.

  • For flights, we are funding only the most basic option, which includes one small backpack to be carried under the seat. You will be free to add priority or cargo luggage to your reservation, but at your own cost.

  • Each country will have a maximum of two meeting points, where participants will gather to begin their journey. Participants should arrange their own travel to the meetings points.

  • In some cases it might be needed for participants to travel one day earlier or return one day later, namely if there are no viable flight connections in the same day.

  • Once the participant selection is finished and everyone is confirmed, the project coordinators will arrange with the national group leaders to finalize the travel itinerary for each group.

  • All important info regarding travel and other topics will be available on a dedicated Discord channel of the activity, but also via e-mail.

  • Above you can find a preliminary plan for each national group. These might change depending on the availability of connections and prices.

Useful information

  • Participation costs: There are no participation costs. Travel, accommodation, and food are co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union. However, participants who are selected will need to pay a 50€ deposit to confirm their participation. This is to avoid last-minute cancelations and to cover possible damages caused by the participants on the accommodation. The money is sent back after the activity.

  • Health & Insurance: We provide insurance for our participants. However we still ask all participants to bring their European Health Insurance Cards, which can be used if they need hospital care.

  • What to bring: Identification card or passport, towel, pocket money to buy personal items (we recommend to bring cash since there might not be an ATM near the venue), laptop (if possible), national food or a typical vest for the gastro and cultural nights, speaker, board games, comfortable and enough clothes for the days of the activity and for outdoor activities as well.

  • Terms & Conditions: Refer to www.e29.eu/terms-and-conditions for detailed terms and conditions.
