Hike on Badacsony

In the rolling hills surrounding Lake Balaton, participants gathered for a once-in-a-lifetime hiking adventure around and through the Badacsony mountain. The journey posed some challenges, which the participants successfully overcame. The hike had a good atmosphere, everyone supported and looked out for each other.

We began with a preparatory meeting before the activity, during which participants learned what to pack, reviewed safety precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike, and familiarized themselves with the route. Afterward, the journey began. By midday, participants had arrived at our starting point, where they enjoyed lunch and introduced themselves to one another. Following this, we prepared our gear and packed up for the adventure. The route was well-maintained and clearly indicated. Approximately halfway through the hike, the weather shifted, and it began to rain. Nevertheless, participants were well-prepared and took the necessary measures to ensure both their own safety and that of the group. Eventually, we reached the summit, where a lookout tower offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding area. The following morning, we set out on a shorter hike to a nearby cave. Finally, after exploring the cave, everyone exchanged goodbyes and made their way home, bringing the adventure to a close.
