Our Project
The “Move Share Repeat” mobility held in Kunbaracs, Hungary, brought together participants from Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Italy. This youth exchange empowered participants to discover alternative sports and adopt healthier lifestyles through innovative activities and cultural exchange.
Throughout the mobility, participants explored sports such as football, handball, Hungarian meta, yoga, and fitness. By participating in these activities, they improved their physical well-being and developed teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. The sessions also emphasized the importance of safety in sports and provided practical knowledge about risk prevention and first aid.
In addition to fostering personal growth, the program encouraged cultural exchange. Participants shared their traditions and stories related to sports, learning about the historical and social significance of physical activities in different countries. A study visit to Kecskemét further enhanced their understanding of active citizenship and the role of sports in promoting community engagement.
The mobility began with engaging activities designed to foster connections and ease participants into the program. Ice-breaking games and energizers set a welcoming tone, encouraging interaction and breaking down barriers among participants from different countries. Together, the group created and signed a “Social Contract,” establishing shared expectations and a sense of collective responsibility for the week ahead.
Sports and physical activities played a central role in promoting health, teamwork, and leadership skills. Participants enjoyed traditional football and handball matches, fostering collaboration, and physical fitness. A lively water activity was another highlight, offering participants a refreshing way to stay active while also relaxing and connecting with their peers. This activity emphasized the importance of balancing mental and physical well-being in a fun and supportive environment.
The importance of safety during sports events was highlighted in a first aid workshop led by a local fireman specializing in emergency response. This session equipped participants with essential skills to respond to emergencies and prevent accidents, empowering them to confidently organize safe and inclusive events in their own communities.
A study visit to Kecskemét was a key highlight of the program, aiming to increase the mobility’s visibility on a local level, promote a healthy lifestyle, and immerse participants in Hungarian culture. Divided into multinational groups, participants completed creative, health-related tasks that encouraged exploration and interaction with the local community.
The evenings were enriched with vibrant intercultural nights, where participants shared their countries’ traditions, cuisines. These events celebrated the diversity of the group, fostering mutual understanding and tolerance. Hungary’s cultural richness was particularly highlighted during its dedicated evening, providing participants with a deeper appreciation of the host country.
Throughout the week, participants also focused on developing their creativity and organizational skills. In multinational groups, they brainstormed and presented innovative ideas for promoting sports and healthy lifestyles in their own communities. These sessions equipped them with practical tools for planning events, using social media effectively, and engaging their local audiences.
Reflection and personal growth were integral to the mobility. Participants engaged in YouthPass sessions, documenting their learning journey, assessing the impact of activities, and connecting these experiences to their personal and professional goals. The YouthPass certificates became valuable tools for recognizing and formalizing their acquired skills and knowledge.
The mobility concluded with a heartfelt farewell around a campfire, where participants shared memories, reflected on their growth, and celebrated the friendships formed throughout the week. With their YouthPass certificates in hand, participants departed with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to bring their learnings and experiences back to their communities.
